Job Description

  • About the role: 
    1. Delivery Driver and Material Handler
    2. 7: 00 AM to 3: 30 PM (30-minute lunch)
    3. Typically, on the road between 7: 15 AM –7: 30 AM and back in the afternoons.
    4. Driving daily routes via van or box truck, farthest location is 25 miles.
    5. In house responsibilities (approximately one week per a month), shipping orders out, picking orders off the shelves, receiving orders in, putting orders away, inventory control/cycle counting.
    6. Size of warehouse team –20 total including this position. 1 warehouse manager, 1 team lead, 10 drivers (4 primary, 6 backups), 7 warehouse associates.
    7. Warehouse environment –family-oriented, fast-paced, hard-working, team-environment
    8. Square footage of warehouse –30, 000
  • Qualifications: 
    1. High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
    2. Driver’s license required, no CDL required.
    3. Experience in warehouse, facilities, or delivery driving preferred.
    4. Proficient skills with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook) preferred.
    5. Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. Assisted and 50 lbs. Unassisted required.
    6. Ideal candidate will have strong skills in problem solving, decision making, follow through, and leadership.
