Key Responsibilities
Prepare and post recurring and accrual journal entries.
Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements.
Perform account reconciliations and investigate variances and discrepancies.
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
Process cash receipts and maintain accurate accounts receivable records.
Prepare and submit monthly construction draw applications.
Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
Support external audits and special accounting projects as needed.
Partner with project managers and operations teams to ensure accurate job costing, project billing, and financial tracking.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
0–3 years of accounting experience (internships and relevant coursework welcome).
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Interest in developing expertise in construction accounting and financial operations.
