Shipping Clerk
Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and organized Shipping Clerk to join our logistics team. The Shipping Clerk will be responsible for preparing outgoing shipments, verifying and keeping records of all products shipped, and ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. This role is critical in maintaining smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and process outgoing shipments, including packing, labeling, and documentation.

Verify shipping information, including product quantity, quality, and destination.

Coordinate with carriers (UPS, FedEx, freight, etc.) for timely pickups and deliveries.

Create and print shipping labels, bills of lading, and other necessary documentation.

Inspect packages for damage and report discrepancies or issues to management.

Maintain accurate shipping records in the system and ensure inventory is updated accordingly.

Collaborate with inventory and receiving teams to ensure seamless workflow.

Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely (if certified).

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping area.

Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
