Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our logistics team. The Shipping Clerk will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely preparation, packaging, and shipment of outgoing goods. This role plays a key part in maintaining efficient supply chain operations and delivering excellent service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare outgoing shipments by verifying and packing orders, labeling boxes, and creating shipping documentation.

Coordinate with carriers (UPS, FedEx, freight companies, etc.) to schedule pickups and deliveries.

Enter shipment data into inventory and logistics systems; update order status as needed.

Inspect outgoing packages for accuracy, condition, and completeness.

Maintain organized shipping and receiving areas.

Communicate with internal teams (sales, customer service, inventory) regarding order fulfillment and delivery updates.

Assist in receiving, sorting, and stocking incoming materials when needed.

Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company policies.
