We are looking for a dependable Sanitation Technician to join our food production team. This role is essential in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety across our facility. The Sanitation Technician ensures all equipment, tools, and production areas are cleaned and sanitized to meet company policies, customer requirements, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production equipment, machinery, and tools following established procedures and master sanitation schedules.
• Maintain cleanliness of production floors, walls, drains, and other facility areas to prevent contamination.
• Follow all food safety and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
• Properly handle, store, and apply cleaning and sanitizing chemicals in compliance with safety regulations.
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment for thorough cleaning and inspection.
• Conduct pre-operational inspections to verify sanitation effectiveness before production starts.
• Complete and maintain accurate sanitation records and logs.
• Report any maintenance or food safety issues to supervisors promptly.
• Work collaboratively with production and quality assurance teams to meet sanitation and safety goals.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous sanitation or janitorial experience in a food production or manufacturing setting preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, sanitation methods, and food safety regulations (HACCP, GMP, OSHA).
• Ability to work safely in a wet, humid, and fast-paced environment.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and working in cold or hot environments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and food safety.
• Flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.
