SUMMARY: The Production Supervisor will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating daily production activities to ensure a Safe and Efficient Operation. This role requires leadership, problem solving and strong communication skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing production teams, ensuring safety compliance, optimizing processes, and maintaining product quality standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supervision and Leadership:

• Lead and manage a diverse production team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Recruit, Hire and Train production employees
• Provide clear direction, training, and guidance to production staff
• Set performance expectations, conduct regular reviews, and address any performance-related issues.
• Production Management:
• Plan & Schedule Resources (Equipment and Labor) to meet Production Plan
• Identify bottlenecks and implement improvements to increase Quality, Efficiency and Safety
• Collaborate with other departments, such as Scheduling, Quality Control, Maintenance, Warehouse and Shipping, to ensure seamless production workflows.

Quality and Safety:

• Maintain a safe working environment in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards
• Monitor product quality and implement corrective actions as needed to meet quality specifications.Communication and Reporting:\Communicate effectively with both English and Spanish-speaking teams, addressing concerns, providing feedback, and facilitating clear information flow.
• Prepare regular production reports, detailing key performance metrics, challenges, and proposed solutions.

Training and Development:

• Identify training needs for production team and coordinate training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and skill development within the production department.
• Qualifications and Requirements:
• Proven experience (3+ years) in production or manufacturing, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Bilingual proficiency in both English and Spanish (verbal and written) is preferred
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Knowledge of chemical production processes, safety standards, and quality control.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and production management software.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
