Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling mechanical components and systems, ensuring high-quality and precise assembly according to specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructions.
- Assemble mechanical parts and systems using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment.
- Inspect and test completed assemblies to ensure proper function and adherence to quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and repair any assembly issues or defects.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Follow safety protocols and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in mechanical assembly is a plus.
- Previous experience in mechanical assembly or a related field.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and understand technical documents and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic math skills and the ability to measure and calculate dimensions accurately.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Ability to stand, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Good vision and hearing to identify assembly issues and ensure quality.
