Job Description
Safely load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse and production areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment.
Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments and materials by comparing product descriptions, quantities, and serial numbers to packing lists or purchase orders.
Stock materials and products in designated warehouse locations, ensuring inventory is organized and easily accessible.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with material replenishment and ordering as needed.
Assist in the picking and preparation of materials for production runs, ensuring that all required materials are available and organized.
Ensure that material handling equipment is maintained, inspected, and operated in accordance with safety guidelines.
Keep accurate records of materials moved and inventory levels using warehouse management systems or spreadsheets.
Help with cycle counting and inventory audits as needed to maintain accuracy.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all safety protocols and company policies.
Assist with other warehouse duties, such as packaging, staging products for shipment, and general warehouse maintenance as needed.
Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production and shipping deadlines.
Job Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience in a material handling, warehouse, or manufacturing environment preferred.
Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification upon hire is required.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
Ability to operate various material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
Basic computer skills to manage inventory and input data.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work overtime or different shifts as needed.
