Plant Quality Manager

Job Description
Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Plant Quality Manager to oversee quality operations at our injection molding facility. This role ensures products meet customer specifications, regulatory standards, and internal quality goals.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the plant’s quality team, including engineers and inspectors.

Maintain and improve quality systems (ISO 9001/IATF 16949).

Manage audits and customer quality requirements.

Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions using tools like 8D and 5 Why.

Support PPAP, FMEA, control plans, and APQP documentation.

Analyze quality data and implement continuous improvements.

Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.

5+ years in quality management, including injection molding experience.

Knowledge of molding processes, defects, and tooling.

Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Quality certifications (CQE, Six Sigma) preferred.
