Responsibilities
Provide customer applications training and support, both in-house and at customer facilities
Perform time studies, test cuts, and machine demonstrations as needed
Program multi-axis applications utilizing CAM systems
Assist in reviewing application aspects of RFQs, turnkey projects, and feasibility studies
Support sales efforts at trade shows and open house events
Develop industry-leading machining processes
Provide on-site customer production analysis and support
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent field experience
4–6 years of experience in machining and/or technical training
Strong knowledge of 5-axis machining
Familiarity with CNC controls; Heidenhain and Siemens preferred
Strong verbal and written English communication skills
Team-oriented with a high level of personal accountability and performance
Position based in Franklin, WI (HERMLE USA Headquarters)
Extensive travel is required (including international)

I was born and raised in Milwaukee and earned my degree from the University of Southern California. After graduating, I made the decision to trade in the Sunshine State to return to the land of cheese to help raise my two younger siblings. My experience ranges from local to national recruiting which has allowed me to build a strong network of connections and opportunities.
A bit more about me: I’m the oldest of three siblings, with an 11-year gap, so helping others is who I am. I’m also a huge animal lover and proud cat mom to a tuxedo kitty named Romeo.
