Ellsworth Adhesives specs in materials in each of those products, and there's currently a 2nd shift Maintenance Tech I opportunity located at our KPRL facility in Germantown, WI!

This position is for 2nd shift with a start time that's flexible between 12pm-3pm!

The Maintenance Tech installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems in the manufacturing environment by performing the following duties. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

  • Ensures preventative maintenance (PM) is completed in a timely manner for all equipment.
    • PM shall be completed on a recurring schedule
    • Stocking levels for PM parts and equipment shall be maintained so as not to disrupt the PM schedule.
    • Records of all PM, labor hours, recommended repairs or replacement shall be maintained within the PM software.
  • Provides proper communication to all affected individuals regarding changes that have been made to equipment, including training on any changes to related work instructions. Assist with training of employees on proper equipment use.
  • Is competent in the use of all common hand tools and manual shop equipment. (ex. cordless drill, Dremel, angle grinder, Sawzall, bandsaw, miter saw, stone grinder, etc)
  • With minimum instruction or supervision, is able to disassemble, clean, repair and reassemble packaging equipment.
  • Communicates with teams and vendors effectively using software programs. Proficient with navigating the Internet and using email to communicate with co-workers and vendors.
  • Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment, HVAC equipment, office equipment and other facilities related equipment when needed. May need to coordinate repairs with outside services and/or facilities maintenance.
  • Due to the nature of the position, overtime and non-regular hours (during production down-time) may be required to support production.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or eqivalency (GED, HSED) and 5+ years of related industrial experience and/or training. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered as equivalent at the discretion of Human Resources and the hiring Manager.
  • Forklift certification required.
  • To perform this job successfully individuals must be proficient on a personal computer and have knowledge of ERP systems, Preventative Maintenance Software, Internet Software, Manufacturing Software, Inventory Software, Microsoft Office Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Certifications in PLC programming or controls a plus.
  • Experience with welding and part machining is a plus.
