Industrial Maintenance Technician!
Position Overview
The Industrial Maintenance Technician troubleshoots, repairs, maintains, and improves highly automated production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role supports plant operations by ensuring PLCs, robotics, sensors, electrical controls, and automation systems operate efficiently to minimize downtime and maximize production output.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, technically skilled, and experienced troubleshooting complex manufacturing equipment and automation systems.
Schedule
AWS (Alternating Work Schedule)
- Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Night Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Rotating weekends and extended shifts required
- Night shift includes a $2.50/hour premium
Compensation & Benefits
- $35–$40/hour based on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled production equipment
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
- Support robotics, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, drives, and automation systems
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance
- Analyze downtime and identify root causes to improve reliability
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and process improvements
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, and technical manuals
- Partner with production and engineering teams to reduce downtime
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and urgent production needs
- Maintain accurate maintenance documentation
- Follow all safety and quality standards
Qualifications
- Experience in industrial maintenance, automation, controls, or electrical systems within manufacturing
- Strong PLC troubleshooting experience required
- Experience with automated production equipment and industrial controls
- Ability to read electrical schematics and ladder logic
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Allen-Bradley PLC experience
- Experience in high-speed or automated manufacturing environments
- Technical degree, apprenticeship, or equivalent hands-on experience
- Experience supporting complex automated production systems
