Job Title: Packaging Operator
Location: On-site
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM

About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Packaging Operator to join the team in the packaging department. In this role, you will support daily production by preparing, packaging, and handling products while ensuring quality, safety, and compliance standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:    

  • Set up, operate, clean, and sanitize packaging equipment
  • Prepare products by dumping materials into hoppers and filling smaller containers
  • Label, bag, and box finished goods according to work instructions
  • Verify lot and batch numbers for accuracy
  • Stack and move materials, including working in and out of freezer environments (up to -55°C)
  • Complete production paperwork and data entry
  • Troubleshoot basic equipment issues
  • Assist team members and help maintain workflow during downtime.
  • Follow GMP, safety, and quality standards at all times

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
  • Comfortable working in cold/freezer environments
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Basic math and computer skills (SAP/ERP experience a plus)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous production or manufacturing experience preferred
