Machine Operator
As an Operator in the Packaging department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products are packaged efficiently and meet the highest quality standards. This position operates under close supervision and involves a variety of tasks including sanitizing, blending, boxing, and bagging products. You will be responsible for setting up, operating, adjusting, cleaning, and sanitizing equipment used in the packaging process. Your attention to detail and adherence to procedures will be essential in maintaining quality standards and ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). In this role, you will assist your colleagues as needed, preparing bags and labels for product fills according to specific work instructions. You will verify lots and batch numbers, and manage the transfer of materials into blenders or hoppers. Additionally, you will be tasked with stacking bags and boxes onto trolleys for storage in the freezer, and you may need to deliver or pick up raw materials or finished products from a -55°C freezer. Troubleshooting equipment failures and completing necessary paperwork for production and inventory records will also be part of your responsibilities. You will participate in continuous improvement activities, applying Lean concepts and principles to enhance operational efficiency. Taking samples for quality control testing as required will be another important aspect of your role.
