We are looking for a reliable and diligent Janitor/Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment in our facilities. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform various cleaning and maintenance tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, and other areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces
• Empty trash and recycling bins and transport waste to designated areas
• Replenish supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
• Perform minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and fixing leaks
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and carpet cleaners
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines at all times
• Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to the highest standards

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a janitor or custodian
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment and perform minor repairs
• Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in task completion
• Good physical condition and the ability to lift and move heavy objects
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
