Job Description
Job Title: Industrial Sanitation Worker
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Type: Full-Time
About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated Industrial Sanitation Worker to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring our manufacturing and production facilities remain clean, safe, and sanitary. Your work will directly impact the quality of our products and the safety of our team, making you an essential part of our operation. Prior experiences in food handling or sanitation is highly recommended.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and Sanitize: Perform routine cleaning and deep sanitation of production equipment, floors, and other industrial surfaces.
- Ensure Safety: Follow strict sanitation and safety protocols to prevent contamination and maintain a hygienic work environment.
- Waste Management: Handle the safe disposal of waste, ensuring proper handling of hazardous materials when required.
- Inspect and Report: Regularly inspect equipment and work areas for cleanliness and report any potential issues or maintenance needs.
- Document and Track: Keep detailed records of cleaning schedules, chemical usage, and sanitation procedures in compliance with company and industry standards.
Job Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Previous experience in industrial cleaning, sanitation, or a similar role preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on cleanliness, safety, and organization.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Team-Oriented: Ability to work well both independently and as part of a sanitation team.
- Willingness to Learn: Familiarity with sanitation chemicals and equipment is a plus, but we’re willing to train the right candidate.
