The Hose Assembler is responsible for assembling hydraulic and industrial hoses according to customer specifications and company quality standards. This role involves measuring, cutting, crimping, testing, and inspecting hoses to ensure accuracy, durability, and safety compliance.
Measure and cut hose materials to specified lengths
Assemble fittings and components onto hoses using hand tools and crimping machines
Operate hose crimping, cutting, and testing equipment
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality and safety standards
Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and production instructions
Maintain accurate production records and documentation
Perform pressure testing and leak checks when required
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines
Assist with inventory management and material handling as needed
High school diploma or GED preferred
Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred
Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools
Ability to read a tape measure accurately
Basic math skills (measurements, fractions, decimals)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Strong attention to detail and quality
