Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable High-Speed Packaging Machine Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining high-speed packaging equipment to ensure efficient and accurate packaging of products. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate high-speed packaging machinery according to production schedules.
Monitor equipment during operation to ensure quality, efficiency, and consistency.
Perform machine adjustments and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
Conduct quality checks on packaged products to meet company and customer standards.
Complete basic preventative maintenance and report equipment problems to maintenance staff.
Follow safety protocols, GMPs, and company procedures at all times.
Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Work closely with teammates and supervisors to meet daily production goals.
Qualifications:
Prior experience operating packaging or manufacturing machinery preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
Attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
Team player with good communication skills.
