Summary/Objective
The Payroll and Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for the preparation of bi-weekly payroll including commission calculations for input into the ADP payroll system. This position also provides general human resources support for staffing and on-boarding processes, performance management, compensation, benefits, and other HR related functions. This position requires absolute confidentiality and attention to detail with accuracy
What you would do:
• Acquires and carefully handles confidential personal information to setup new employees in payroll system
• Monitors and analyzes payroll registers to confirm accuracy in pay and other benefits
• Accumulates information necessary to perform and compute detailed commission calculations for inside and outside sales personnel
• Works with Director of Accounting to confirm customers payment history
• Works with Sales Director on commission calculations (acquisition of related data from CRM system, communication of commission payments to Sales Staff)
• Coordinates the employment process, to include conducting phone interviews, conducting new employee orientation, placing job postings online, and ensuring the accurate and timely completion of all required new employee paperwork.
• Manages Worker’s Compensation cases. Intake claims, files First Injury Reports and communicates with colleague and claims adjuster as necessary after claim has been filed. Maintains the OSHA log.
• Assists the HR Director with human resource related duties and tasks as assigned
