Freight Utility
Job Description
POSITION PURPOSE:
The Freight Utility is responsible for providing clerical functions throughout the logistics department. This position will maintain in/outbound shipment information and coordinate freight line and customer pickups.
JOB DUTIES
- Process production orders for truck shipments to comply with specified shipping lead time
- Process LTL, truckload & expedite shipments (Inbound and outbound) using Acumatica and TMS
- Calculate and add customer freight charges (and carrier costs) to orders in TMS and Acumatica
- Provide LTL freight quotes to customers and sales departments in a timely manner
- Troubleshoot and develop solutions with challenging delivery locations and time sensitivity
- Assist with carrier freight bill audit
- Provide freight claim processing as needed
- Provide Support on parcel quotes and carrier invoice audit
- Enter international orders online as needed
- BU support to LTL Office and OS&D Freight positions
- Assist in small projects as needed
