Forklift Operator
Job Description
Are you an experienced forklift operator looking for a rewarding opportunity? Do you have expertise in both stand-up and sit-down forklifts? Join our team and be part of a dynamic workplace where your skills are valued!
As a Stand-Up and Sit-Down Forklift Driver, your responsibilities will include:
- Operating stand-up and sit-down forklifts to move materials, products, and equipment safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading trucks, containers, and storage areas using forklifts with precision and care
- Performing routine maintenance checks on forklifts and reporting any issues to maintenance personnel
- Following safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure work environment for yourself and others
- Assisting with inventory management, organizing materials, and maintaining accurate records
Job Requirements
To qualify for this role, you should have:
- Proven experience as a forklift operator, with proficiency in both stand-up and sit-down forklifts
- A strong understanding of forklift safety practices
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent
