Greendale / Franklin Area | Day Shift (Mon–Thu: 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM, Fri: 6:30 AM – 10:30 AM)
Build something real.
Looking for a hands-on job where you can learn a trade and build things you can be proud of? This isn’t repetitive, boring assembly line work. You’ll be working in a custom steel job shop, helping build structural steel beams, custom architectural pieces like benches, and metal parts for local fire departments, city projects, and data centers.
If you like working with your hands and are willing to learn, we will teach you the trade.
What You'll Do
Metal Prep: Cut, grind, drill, and deburr raw steel parts using power grinders, hand tools, and metal saws.
Support Plasma & Press Brakes: Help pull parts off the plasma cutting table, clean up rough edges, and assist machine operators.
Assist Welders: Help set up and fit metal pieces for our full-time welders.
Basic Shop Duties: Read a tape measure, check your work for basic accuracy, move materials using overhead cranes, and keep the shop clean.
What We're Looking For
Comfortable using basic hand and power tools.
Able to read a tape measure accurately.
Comfortable working in a real industrial shop setting (open bay doors, non-climate-controlled).
Reliable, hard-working, and ready to learn from experienced shop pros.
Previous welding, plasma table, or saw experience is a plus, but not required.
Shift & Schedule
Weekly Schedule: 40 hours per week
Hours: Monday – Thursday (6:30 AM – 4:30 PM) & Friday half-day (6:30 AM – 10:30 AM).
Early Friday Exit: Get your 40 hours in and wrap up every Friday morning by 10:30 AM!
