Are you a hands-on person who enjoys working with machinery, tools, and materials? Do you have experience in manufacturing, fabrication, industrial sewing, or a similar environment?

We are looking for a Fabrication Technician II to join our team and help build custom-fabricated products to precise customer specifications. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, reading drawings, measuring materials, operating equipment, and taking pride in producing a quality finished product.

What You'll Do

• Fabricate large-scale, custom products using high-strength industrial fabrics and related materials.
• Operate specialized industrial sewing equipment to join, hem, gather, reinforce, and assemble materials.
• Select and prepare materials such as thread, belting, binding, cord, pipe, and tape according to production specifications.
• Read and follow blueprints, diagrams, work orders, and production instructions.
• Accurately measure, cut, and assemble materials to required specifications.
• Inspect finished work and stitching for quality, defects, or equipment-related issues.
• Maintain established quality and production standards.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and minor repairs.
• Complete production and material usage documentation accurately.
• Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment as required.
• Participate in safety meetings and follow all workplace safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of manufacturing, fabrication, production, or similar hands-on experience preferred.
• Experience reading blueprints, drawings, or diagrams.
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools and equipment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and learn established processes.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
• Forklift experience or certification is a plus.
• Industrial sewing or fabric-handling experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements

This is an active, hands-on manufacturing position. Candidates must be able to:

• Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Push and pull materials or equipment weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Frequently bend, reach, and work with materials and equipment.
• Perform repetitive hand and arm movements as needed.

Work Environment

The position is based in a large manufacturing/warehouse environment where temperatures can vary depending on the season. The role involves working around production equipment, materials, and material-handling equipment.
