Role Requirements:
Proven Experience: 3+ years in metal fabrication, structural steel, or custom job shop environments, with prior leadership or supervisory experience.
Blueprint & Technical Literacy: Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and weld symbols.
Fabrication Expertise: Hands-on knowledge of MIG/TIG welding, fitting, shear/press brake operation, and plasma/laser cutting equipment.
Material & Tooling Knowledge: Strong understanding of steel types, structural shapes, gauges, and required shop consumables.
Organization & Logistics: Proven track record in material tracking, job routing, and inventory coordination.
Safety & Compliance: Solid grounding in OSHA standards and shop floor safety practices.
