Job Description

Job Title: Electrical Assembler

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Electrical Assembler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling electrical components, wiring, and systems for various products and equipment. You will work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure high-quality assembly and compliance with safety standards and customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble electrical components, wiring, and systems according to blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
  • Test electrical assemblies to ensure functionality, troubleshoot any issues, and make necessary adjustments.
  • Install and connect electrical components such as switches, sensors, and circuit boards.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and soldering equipment to complete assembly tasks.
  • Verify the quality of all assembled products and conduct inspections to ensure compliance with quality control standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other team members to resolve technical issues and improve assembly processes.
  • Keep accurate records of work completed, including assembly reports and testing results.
  • Ensure all work meets production timelines and quality requirements.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or an associate’s degree in electronics or electrical engineering is a plus.
  • Previous experience in electrical assembly or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and wiring techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, such as wiring diagrams and assembly instructions.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and soldering equipment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and best practices in an industrial setting.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform manual tasks such as standing, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
