CUSTOMER ADVOCATE
Reports To: Commercial Operations Manager
Function:
Enter and manage customer orders in ERP system, coordinate domestic and international shipments, and serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries including quotes, order status, expedites, and documentation. Maintain customer master data and deliver consistent, high-quality customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Enter customer orders accurately and manage the Order Desk.
Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email.
Maintain and update customer master data.
Prepare quotes and retrieve required customer documentation.
Coordinate and prepare commercial documents for international shipments in compliance with export regulations.
Process RMAs and support discrepancy resolution.
Proactively monitor open orders and communicate status updates, delays, and expedite requests.
Collaborate cross-functionally to improve delivery performance.
Create and maintain departmental procedures; cross-train for coverage as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred.
3+ years of office experience, ideally in a manufacturing or technical sales environment.
Experience with international shipping and export documentation.
Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, ERP, and CRM systems.
Detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities.
