Key Responsibilities
Interpret Technical Documentation – Read and follow blueprints, schematics, work instructions, and production paperwork to ensure accurate and efficient assembly processes.
Perform Advanced Assembly Functions – Complete assembly and modification of electronic components using soldering, crimping, wire selection, crimping equipment, and various hand and power tools.
Inspect and Troubleshoot Products – Conduct in-process and final inspections, perform testing, complete required documentation, and troubleshoot assembly issues to ensure product quality and functionality.
Support Production Flow and Quality Standards – Set up jobs, assist with packaging activities, provide guidance on assembly-related questions, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and support departmental performance when the supervisor is unavailable.

Socorro is an incoming senior at Marquette University, where she is pursuing a degree in Corporate Communications and Marketing. She is passionate about helping others: whether by answering questions, offering support, or providing Spanish translation; overcoming language barrier.
This summer, Socorro is excited to be part of the ELITE program at Hatch, viewing it as an important stepping stone in her professional journey. She brings a creative mindset and a people-first approach to everything she does.
Outside of her professional and academic pursuits, Socorro enjoys being a devoted cat mom to her cat, Cookie, as well as shopping and creating digital designs.
