Responsibilities

• Provide customer applications training and support, both in-house and at customer facilities

• Perform time studies, test cuts, and machine demonstrations as needed

• Program multi-axis applications utilizing CAM systems

• Assist in reviewing application aspects of RFQs, turnkey projects, and feasibility studies

• Support sales efforts at trade shows and open house events

• Develop industry-leading machining processes

• Provide on-site customer production analysis and support

• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent field experience

• 4–6 years of experience in machining and/or technical training

• Strong knowledge of 5-axis machining

• Familiarity with CNC controls; Heidenhain and Siemens preferred

• Strong verbal and written English communication skills

• Team-oriented with a high level of personal accountability and performance

• Position based in Franklin, WI (HERMLE USA Headquarters)

• Extensive travel is required (including international)
