Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Description

Excellent opportunity to work directly with the Accounting Manager and Controller providing a variety of support with both accounts receivable and accounts payable. 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Reviewing, preparing, and posting AR and AP activities on a monthly basis 
  • Performing proactive collection strategies while analyzing aged receivables
  • Recording monthly credit card activities 
  • Assist with general ledger account reconciliation and month-end closing procedures 
  • Calculate commissions as needed
  • Prepare sales and use tax reports
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and efficiencies 
  • Participate in accounting team meetings 

Job Requirements

Strong attention to detail 

Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook 

Bachelor's degree in accounting with 1-3 years of accounting and/or financial experience required OR bachelor's degree in business or non-related with 3 years of previous accounting and or financial experience
