Job Requirements

Job Duties 
The ideal candidate enjoys working in QuickBooks with strong attention to detail.  Some of the job duties include:
  • Assist with general journal entries weekly
  • Assist with payroll tax payment entries and tax filings
  • Assist with certified payroll reporting and job setup in payroll software
  • Assist with job and freight expensing
  • Assist with internal audit functions and account reconciliations
  • Assist with inventory data entry and analysis
  • Assist in fraud prevention by reviewing credit card charges, payment discrepancies, refunds, returns and miscellaneous charges as assigned
  • Assist vendors with inquiries and billing issues
  • Assist with verifying all vendor statements for accuracy and settle any discrepancy
  • Work with Project Managers to verify approval of vendor invoices and cost accounting of expenses
  • Assist Bidding Department with job costing analysis
  • Entry of all project labor and material costs
  • Maintain project status reports
  • Assist in analyzing all project expenses

  • Associates Degree in Accounting or equivalent
  • Someone who can think out of the box and easily adapt to change, looking to gain efficiencies through optimizing systems and processes
  • At least 1 year of experience utilizing QuickBooks or equivalent
  • Previous Construction (preferred) or manufacturing experience a plus
