Job Description

Summary
A full-time position in the Accounting Department and is primarily responsible for payroll and accounts payable and will lend support to other areas of the department.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
  • Ability to enter data into computer data base 
  • Ability to process and file payrolls in Paylocity software
  • Ability to compile payroll supporting reports and documentation
  • Ability to file maintain employee records
  • Ability to perform A/P invoice and payment processing and filing in ERP software
  • Ability to follow, create, and implement vendor payment procedures
  • Ability to document job procedures
  • Ability to perform as back up position for Accounts Receivable
  • Ability to perform account reconciliations for A/P and payroll
  • Ability to keep strict confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Ability to perform other responsibilities as needed or required

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience 
  • Four years of high school or vocational school or equivalent
  • Two-year Accounting Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years accounting experience
  • Experience in Accounts Payable and Payroll
