Job Description


The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices and payments while ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards. This role supports the accounting team by maintaining organized financial records and contributing to efficient month-end processes.
Key Responsibilities

  • Process high-volume vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper coding

  • Match purchase orders, receiving documents, and invoices (3-way match)

  • Resolve invoice discrepancies and communicate with vendors as needed

  • Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH, and wire payments

  • Maintain vendor files and ensure W-9s and payment information are current

  • Reconcile vendor statements and research outstanding balances

  • Assist with month-end close, accruals, and account reconciliations

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting procedures

  • Support audits by providing documentation and reports

  • Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned
