Job Description: Machine Operator - 2nd Shift

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The Machine Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery to ensure efficient production processes. The ideal candidate will have strong technical abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up machines (calibration, cleaning, etc.) to start a production cycle.
• Operate machinery and equipment according to instructions, ensuring optimal performance and output.
• Monitor machine operations to detect any problems and make necessary adjustments.
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting to prevent machine downtime.
• Inspect parts and products for quality and adherence to specifications.
• Maintain accurate records of production, including quantity, quality, and machine performance.
• Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve production targets and resolve issues.
• Assist with the training of new machine operators as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in machine operation is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar role.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine operation and maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and manuals.
• Proficiency in using measuring tools and instruments.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to work in shifts and overtime as needed.
