We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Assistant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will support the accounting department by performing a variety of accounting, bookkeeping, and financial tasks. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a basic understanding of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable
• Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and payment transactions
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation
• Reconcile bank statements and assist with monthly account reconciliations
• Perform data entry and ensure the accuracy of financial information
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
• Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
• Communicate with vendors and customers to resolve billing and payment issues
• Support the accounting team during audits and year-end financial activities
• Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support the finance department

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an accounting assistant or similar role
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field is a plus
