Payroll and Benefits Specialist

Extremely reputable organization is looking to add a Payroll and Benefits Specialist to their HR Team.  In this role you would be responsible for processing and reviewing payroll both hourly and salaried employees.  You would also be responsible for:

- Coordinating and assisting with out of state payroll 

- Supporting the HR team with Benefits for FMLA

- Post journal entries to the general ledger 

- Auditing entries 

- Managing terminations, pay increases, direct deposits, etc.  

- Other related payroll projects as needed 

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting preferred but not required

5 years of Payroll experience 

Strong Microsoft Excel
