Payroll Specialist I

What you will be doing
This company has a fun start up atmosphere where people love to go to work. You will get to work very close with different companies to help with any and all of their payroll related responsibilities. You will get to mange the daily work-flow of your clients from start to finish to ensure that their work is completed on time. This is working through the complete full cycle of payroll! You will also get to assist with different projects that come through the department and there is always a focus on continual improvement to optimize your time. Other responsibilities include...
- Provide ongoing client and employee support via phone and email regarding payroll and benefits administration
- Process and verify indicative data including but not limited to new hire paperwork, benefit enrollments, benefit terminations, tax elections, voluntary deductions, wage attachments, employee terminations and compensation adjustments
- Process and audit employee and employer specific benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA, HSA, Voluntary Life, STD, LTD and additional ancillary benefits
Experience we are looking for
2 or more years of payroll experience
A degree in business administration or a related accounting field
