Job Description: Mechanical Assembler

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team. The Mechanical Assembler will be responsible for assembling mechanical components and systems according to specifications and blueprints. The ideal candidate will have strong manual dexterity, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble mechanical components and systems according to detailed specifications, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery to complete assembly tasks.
• Inspect and test completed assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards and operational requirements.
• Identify and report any assembly issues or discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure smooth production flow.
• Follow all company policies and procedures related to assembly processes and quality control.
• Assist in maintaining inventory levels of assembly components and materials.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance assembly efficiency and quality.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in mechanical assembly is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Assembler or in a similar role.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of assembly techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
• Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
