Job Description: Maintenance Technician

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure our facilities remain in optimal condition. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspections of buildings and equipment to identify and address maintenance needs.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair machinery, equipment, and systems as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and equipment logs.
• Assist in the installation, modification, and repair of building structures and systems.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to achieve maintenance goals.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform manual labor.
