Job Description

POSITION PURPOSE:

The Freight Utility is responsible for providing clerical functions throughout the logistics department. This position will maintain in/outbound shipment information and coordinate freight line and customer pickups.

 

JOB DUTIES 

  • Process production orders for truck shipments to comply with specified shipping lead time
  • Process LTL, truckload & expedite shipments (Inbound and outbound) using Acumatica and TMS 
  • Calculate and add customer freight charges (and carrier costs) to orders in TMS and Acumatica
  • Provide LTL freight quotes to customers and sales departments in a timely manner
  • Troubleshoot and develop solutions with challenging delivery locations and time sensitivity
  • Assist with carrier freight bill audit
  • Provide freight claim processing as needed
  • Provide Support on parcel quotes and carrier invoice audit
  • Enter international orders online as needed
  • BU support to LTL Office and OS&D Freight positions 
  • Assist in small projects as needed
