Job Description

Job Title: Assembly Team Member- Team Member is responsible for the assembly and packaging of electronic equipment. This position is key to continually meet and exceed production goals while continuing to delivery high quality products to our customers.

Duties/Responsibilities: Read, learn, understand, and interpret blueprints and work instructions, and other instructions written or verbal, to complete assembly of products or components according to established guidelines and quality standards.

Read, understand, and interpret basic ruler measurements.

Basic crimping for 28-2-gauge wire and larger.

Kitting-bagging to prepare product for shipment.

Use a variety of hand and power tools following appropriate methods and procedures to complete assembly of components or products and prepare products and other items for shipment.

Inspect and test parts and products as necessary, during or after assembly, according to established guidelines and quality standards.

Participate in IPC Training Modules

Cross train to other areas of department as needed.

Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

Additional responsibilities include packaging and or spot-checking others work

Required Skills/Abilities: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, with the ability to speak and understand English

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers

Knowledge of basic crimping skills for 28-2-gauge wire and larger.

Knowledge of kitting-bagging to prepare product for shipment.

Time management

Read and interpret schematic drawings diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, reports to determine materials requirements and assembly instructions

May be required to read measuring devices such as rulers, micrometers, calipers, scales, and use magnifying aids

Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent

0-2 years related experience Or equivalent combination of education and experience

Physical Requirements: Occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.

Frequently required to sit

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus

The ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate or assemble objects

Occasionally lift and/ or move up to 50 pounds
