Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:•Responsible for performing general assembly functions on product as required to meet department ship dates.•You will be key person to assist in rivet assembly as the workload dictates. •Read shop orders and inspect parts from various pieces of equipment to ensure compliance with established drawings and specifications.•Work on kick press and/or punch press to install terminals.•Cut wire by specifications on shop order.•Place copper wires through hole and secure with rivet.•Place sleeve (silicone cover) over wires.•Responsible for ongoing housekeeping activities and inspections of various machines and processes to ensure a safe and productive work environment.•Be able to be cross trained in the department to perform different duties.•Work with production supervisor and other department personnel in a cooperative and collaborative manner to expedite orders within the department so as to meet and exceed customer expectations in a cost-effective manner.

Job Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:
• Seeking quality minded individual with strong attention to detail and good hand dexterity to perform assembly of small parts and ability to work with epoxy. 
• 1-year of experience working in a manufacturing environment working in assembly or as a machine operator. 
• Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to understand and utilize technical information required.
• Ability to successfully read and utilize inspection and measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, protractors and ruler required).
• Requires being able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Need to read and speak English to review Shop Order requirements required.
